Quickbooks .iif file creation (intuit Import Format)

Entering a lot of routine data such as expense claims, daily takings or bills into Quickbooks can take a lot of time. If you are re-keying from an expense sheet there is always the risk of errors.

Quickbooks provides an import function for data files in the correct .IIF format. The usual way is to record data in an Excel spreadsheet workbook (this can be filled out by the appropriate person) and then save the data in a text file using the IIF file layout and format.

This sounds easy but Quickbooks has no margin for error and .IIF files must be in exactly the right format for success. There is no 'undo' facility; it must be correct first time.

We develop spreadsheet templates that can save much of your data input in the correct format.

(It is not possible to automate payroll but you can setup new employees.)

Each template's layout depends a lot on your Chart of Accounts, VAT preferences and how you want to layout your template so every case is developed independently to match your requirements.

Once the template has been developed, you will save many hours of tedious, repetitive data entry and without the risks of introducing errors.
